Hampshire County Council have just published details that the Pilgrims Cross CE Primary School, Andover is set to expand.
Following local consultation, no objections were received and therefore unconditional approval is given to proceed. The reason for this decision is that this will provide additional capacity for children of primary age in a area where a significant shortfall has been identified.
The current capacity of Pilgrims Cross School is 210 children, and the proposed future capacity will be 315 children, 45 per year group.
This demand for Schools places is due to the continued new housing at Picket Twenty. It is intended that permanent facilities would be available from September 2015Leave a comment
