Persimmon Homes has applied to Test valley Borough Council for the next phase of development at picket Twenty. The area has outline planning permission for 1200 homes.
The application is for the erection of 98 homes and associated infrastructure. 39 of these are to be affordable homes(rented), a mixture of one and two bedroom flats, two, three and four bedroom houses. The Picket Twenty development extends to approximately 274 acres, while phase 3 covers approximately 6.25 acres. Car parking provision is a ratio of two spaces for 2/3 bed dwelling and three spaces for 3/4 bedroom dwelling.
New pedestrian/ cycle links and a public transport system to this area is also proposed.
