Test Valley is one of the few Councils that are building houses at this time. This is clearly good news for the 3500 people on the housing waiting list. Over 400 people have now moved into the Picket Twenty development. Work is due to start on building phase one of the 500 new homes at Picket Piece in April. At least 40% of these will be affordable homes, which will help to take some people off the waiting list. The 35 affordable homes at Junction Road are due to be compleated in March.
Your local Lib Dem Councillors are working to make sure that the infrastructure, better roads, local schools, facilities and most of all jobs, are there to support these homes.
